Before Starting an Hospital Outpatient Study
Prior to starting your study in a UF Health Hospital GNV location, you may be required to submit your study to various review committees to ensure that your study details are communicated to Shands staff and that research workflows are followed. See Human Subjects Research Reviews for more details.
Procedure Coding Requests (PCR)
IDS procedure codes and pricing must be obtained by the study team PRIOR to an OCR submission.
- Study team requests services using the following form(s):
- IDS Investigational Pharmacy PCR Form – Version 05/03/22
- IDS Non-Investigational Pharmacy PCR Form – Version 08/11/20
- Include protocol, pharmacy manual, IB, so that IDS may generate an accurate estimate (estimates subject to change based on new information).
- IDS will generate an estimate for services and reply to the study team.
- You will also be given information about next steps to get your study setup in Epic, Beacon, and Vestigo.
