All research conducted at the University of Florida must be in compliance with applicable State, Federal, and institutional regulations.
As custodians of research funding, all Principal Investigators and their designees will provide necessary information to appropriate sponsors, college, university, hospital, professional and other outside service personnel that are required to support the execution of the study.
Additionally, they will ensure that proper research billing procedures are followed for all concurrent payers for study-funded services. These concurrent payers may include the sponsor (contracting agency, granting agency), study participants and their 3rd party payers, including Medicare and other government payers.
